First Full Day

Happy July 30th and 70 days left until we leave.  This trip is largely going to be Seralago and Old Town, however there are a few must do's that have to be addressed and we'll start on those right away.  By right away, I mean on our first full day.

We are going to wake up from our full and restful sleep ready to take on the world!  If my prediction of the previous day is correct, it'll already feel like we've been there a few days when we get up on Saturday morning.  Also, we'll have slept more than we realize between napping at the pool and our nap in the room, so we'll likely wake up bright and early and feeling pretty good.  And you know exactly where that day will begin, don't you?  Sure you do.

Well I'll have been craving them for 20 months by the time we get there, so this has to be the first stop.  I already know that I'm going to need two extra forks because I'm going to get syrup everywhere!   I'm literally salivating while writing this.  Anyway, we'll get my first dose of Mama's pancakes out of the way early.  And just like the vaccine, there will be more doses.

After pancakes, our next Saturday morning "must do" is across the street at...

I definitely want to get a few sweet Florida oranges to have in the hotel room and we can check out the lemon and orange trees.  I don't know if we'll get them at this point or wait until closer to the end of the trip.

Then we'll do the real tourist traps up and down 192.

Maybe we buy stuff, maybe we don't.  But we'll know where everything is once we comparison shop and we can go back at a later date to pick up what we want.  A beach towel might be nice.

After all this we should be well passed noon and we'll head back to the hotel where we'll nap and swim and perhaps have a beverage.  Maybe two beverages.  After some nice relax time we'll venture out on foot to some of our more favourite haunts .... namely.

It'll take a good hour to go through here and we're bound to find a t-shirt or two.

Then there is Food-truck-world outside the flea market.  I think this may be frequented by us fairly regularly this week both for lunch and evening snacks.  I'm thinking that we should split something so that we have appetites for dinner.

For dinner?   Don't know.  I'd like to do restaurants a couple of times.  Maybe a dinner at Disney Springs one night.  Another night we can do Joe's Crab Shack, Applebee's, Chili's, TGI Friday's, or Olive Garden.  Anything but Red Lobster (ABRL).  We can do Denny's, or Perkin's any night for supper, I don't really consider those to be "dining out."

OR .... we can go to Froggers or Checkers every night and I'd be fine with that too.

Anyway, that seems like a fairly full first day, what do you think?
